Built in dishwasher leaking when stood with water in it and activating the float.
On removal and sides off it was evident if the dishwasher when stopped with water in the sump it would leak out of the area of the microswitch in the heater. Being inquisitive I pulled the heater apart, a total juckie mess.
Replaced that to find it has done something similar but to a lesser amount to the motor / sump bung and left it with a slight drip, again when stopped.

Ive identified the faults and replaced and ordered both of the culprits.

My question? Any ideas what is likely to have effected the rubber in normal use or is a case of them using something not so normal in there.
Customer says only used dishwasher tablets, not so sure? :rolls:

It’s normally lack of use that causes this fault. Tend to get it in holiday lets that have stood idle all winter.
