ParticipantHi
I have a Bosch Intergrated dishwasher SRV43M03GB/15 which for some weeks has been making a loudish bang bit like a heating element blowing or an electrical short, its loud enough to scare someone standing nearbye. It sometimes happened when the cycle had finished, even several hours later.
I have checked the heating element which gives a reading of 23 ohmms so I guess thats ok. Also the cycle finish buzzer stopped working some weeks ago ,and the water or machine does not heat up anymore.
Does this sound like the control unit?
Regards

Ive checked the mains suppressor and it seems ok, no visable signs of damage. Surley for it to make such a loud noise it would show signs of damage.
i found a dry jpint on the board so soldered that and now the heater is working fine.
So the washer is working fine now except for the bang which is still occuring about 4/6 hours after the cycle has finished.Any more suggestions please

My machine has finally blown up !!!!!!!!!
After running for several weeks and making loud bangs several hours after the cylce has finished it made one final bang and blew the fuse.
I have visually looked at what I think is the mains suppressor as suggeested by Penguin 45 ( Thanks ) and it looks fine no signs of any damage. For it to make so much noise surely it would show signs of damage .Could anyone tell me if Im looking at the correct suprressor ? Im looking at the one at the front of the maching bolted to the motor.
Regards Dave
