Bosch Dishwasher not draining

This topic looked easy didn’t it 😆

Sorry but the pump runs and drains, no blockages.
Operate the anti-flood switch and it drains.

Problem is when you start the program or cancel the pump doesn’t run.

I can’t find any breaks in the loom or dry solder joints on the PCB.

I haven’t come across this before, so by a process of elimination can only assume it’s the control unit.

Has anyone come across this before?

Unfortunatley not,

Always works OK when the anti-flood switch is operated, never when it should via the control panel.

Anti-flood switch supplies power direct to the pump, bypassing the electronics. Therefore…. Electronics.

Fitted a new control module and voila the drain pump works.

Call from customer about 2 hours later……. The machine isn’t heating, stuck on a wash since I have left and not hot.

Update to this problem………

Returned to customer, new PCB from BSH faulty!
