ParticipantSGV46M43GB/01. The pump was tight so I fitted a new one but it will not drain. There is no blockages . I tried removing the non return flap
but still no drain. I tried it with door open and pushed up the polystyrene float the pump runs you can see the water being displaced but it
will not drain any ideas welcomedMarch 28, 2021 at 10:20 pm #476002electrofix

ParticipantCould it be blocked between the water matrix and the drain hose connection?

ModeratorIf not already done I would remove outlet hose from both ends and blow down it. sounds like a fat blockage
assume the pump cover is on properly

Moderatorwell onto long shots now as blockages was very high up the list. assume you tried putting hose ino a bucket intead of the drain
assume the little hole in the pump cover is clear and you have already said pump cover is in place properly.
have you checked voltage to the pump, yes am clutching at straws nowDave

ParticipantJust a thought – does it need to a functioning non return valve? The pumps only bat the water out so maybe if the non return valve is not sealing off properly the water might be returning into the machine just as quick as it is batted out by the pump.
P.S. If it makes you feel better I had a similar machine soon after I started in the trade with the same issue and I never did fix it, a new non return valve was my next guess on it but the customer scrapped it first.

ParticipantI had one this week not draining,I took the clear hose off the side tank it still would not drain into a bowl.
I pushed a cable tie from the pump into the clear hose and that looked ok, but when I put water in the sump and tried again a lump of rice shot into the bowl.
Just another thought is the replacement pump the correct part.March 30, 2021 at 7:22 pm #476011suedehead1
Participanthi thanks everyone its a genuine pump I will need to go and give it another l think the problem must lie in the matrix on the side
