Bosch dishwasher not heating water

Hi

I have an old Bosch dishwasher (SGS5002GB/07) circa 1995 It is a fairly simple machine. It is not heating the water. Research on this site (and others) suggests three causes;
1 broken heating element,
2 broken thermostat
3 dry solder joints on the PCB

I have checked the hating element and is has a resistance of 27 ohms which is within the suggested 15-30 ohm range.

I have replaced the thermostat with a new one.

I can’t find a PCB on the machine; it appears to me to be electro-mechanical.

Any suggestions as to the cause of the failure or location of the PCB would be gratefully received.

You’ll need to remove the control module from the door and check the PCB for burnt heater relay terminals. Simple fix with a dab of solder and a dash of TLC. 😀
