Bosch Dishwasher problem, help please.

Hi, I have a problem with my dishwasher I hope you can help me with. I have pulled the machine out and cannot find a model number anywhere. It looks identical to the SGS43T72GB pictured on retailers web sites though mine is silver not white and the number on the manual is 9000 104 145 (8506) I have had it for about 30 months and it has worked perfectly until yesterday. When the machine is started you can hear a pump/motor running and water swilling around, after a couple of minutes it just seems to get stuck in a cycle of water swilling for 7 seconds then a motor or pump running for 4 seconds with a gluging sound at the outlet. The machine keeps doing this over and over again. When it is switched off and opened there is cold water in the bottom, the pots have not been touched, still dry and dirty and the dispenser has not opened. I have checked the filter and the pump impeller, both were OK. When a reset is run the pump empties the water out with no problem. Any idea’s on what could be the problem. Thanks, Dave.

Look along the top edge of the door ,you will find all details etched into the stainless steel.

Thanks Washman. It was very faint but it is there. The model number is SGS43158GB/21

Sorry, model number is not correct.

Problem sounds like a computer board corruption issue.

Thanks Penguin, The correct model number is SGS43T58GB/21. If it sounds like the board to you then I guess I need a new dishwasher. I have always liked Bosch but this machine is not that old and has put me off getting another Bosch. Thanks again, Dave.

Hi. Our Whirlpool Dishwasher, model ADG 7540/1 appears to work okay except for the water temperature which remains lukewarm at all temperature settings. Used to get hot before. Heater coil resistance measures 24.7 ohms. So may be okay. Any advice on what could be the problem with the lack of water heating on this dishwasher would be greatly appreciated.
