Bosch Dishwasher Problems

Hi

Just this evening our Bosch Classixx Dishwasher (SGS53C12UK) has started playing up. It started with a run “finishing”, but on opening there was still a lot of water remaining in the bottom of the appliance. On trying to restart the lights kept flickering until eventually we managed to get it to reset and empty the unit.

Later the unit was filled again and a run started (again lights flickered for a while) and again after a short time the unit had gone off.

I thought maybe a fuse had gone, but on inspection there were no problems there, and after quite a few attempts eventually it flickered back to life, but only sporadically.

Can anyone please advise what might be causing this and how to rectify?

Double check the plugtop and then try plugging it in to another wall socket as it sounds like a power supply problem. Failing that, then could be that the main control unit is at fault maybe??? 😕
