    I went out to a plastic tub Bosch dishwasher today which needs a new drain pump. I didnt have one with me, looked at the price of them on Connect and almost had heart failure.
    The enr is SGS43T52/16 FD number 8512 10294.
    I have a drain pump (electrupart) push and twist style which cost me about £11+vat but it’s the one for the steel tub. Looked and compared them on screen and they look very similar apart from the impellers are not cut at an angle on the plastic tub version.
    Does anyone know if this will fit with success?

    Electrue part straightforward equivalent in stock £11.10. PMP9139. How did you miss that?

    Hi Mike – pmp9139 is the pump designed for the steal tub version. A bit further along the search there is a different pump which is the type fitted to the plastic tub version (5031686444166). I have the pmp9139 in stock which is why I would like to know if it will go on without issues. The impellers are different…

    I see what you mean. Is the steel tub version a different forward slash number?
    My gut feeling would be that the chambers must be shaped differently, so it might work but if it does it would probably not be as efficient. Masterpart have it £28.46.

    Though I’ve never ever replaced a pump on a plastic tub dishwasher, I wouldn’t mind betting the conventional stainless tub pump would fit and work just as well?

    I’ll try out my theory and report back……… 💡
