Moderatorwell out of ideas now
the pressure sw is operating and the wires from that sw to the board are ok. so we can assume the board should know the lower level has been reached. .After that normally the main motor starts and the machine time fills to the next level. it should then stop but yours is not
it does suggest the board is not getting the signal or not recognising it
are you positive you have the wires on correctly on the water level sw ?

ParticipantMany thanks for all your advice Dave, really appreciated!
We are stumped too… the switch has been tested but in the end we by passed it and the circulation motor did not kick in/activate (no movement inside the machine – we did test the motor with a multi-meter and it did function), nor did the water stop!

ParticipantHi Dave, sorry for delay in coming back.
Yes all in correct position. We had the dishwasher out on decking to check everything and there is no apparent reason why the switch is not a) kicking in when blue lever comes out or b) when the switch is bypassed why nothing else happens within the machine. Determined to get to the bottom of it though!
Could the Aquastop be faulty? If the red lever/stick is raised manually it does stop the aquastop and activates the drain pump.
Many thanks for all your advice, much appreciated!

Moderatorcant see aqua stop being a problem. its a mechanical float situation so really cant false trigger unless things are blocked
if you stop it triggering am sure it may overflow

ParticipantHI Dave, sorry for the long delay in coming back to you but we went into dishwasher overload and needed time out!
I am happy to report the machine is now working. Everything was checked twice and all seemed perfect and correct. We then had issues with it going past the microswitch and then failing, then the spray arms not both working, then constant spraying etc. etc. It felt like it just needed to relearn everything again. Very bizarre but we have managed to get to an end of a program!
We are treating it very gingerly and only using it when we can monitor it and going to name it Herbie as it has a mind of it’s own!
Thank you Dave for all your help! It was very much appreciated and seriously could not have fixed it without your expert help and knowledge!
