bosch dishwasher sgs43a22gb/01 fd 8207 820344

machine wont fill, cleaned magnetic float and checked for blockages.
changed fill valve for qualtex val14 and machine then filled but to quickly and started leaking out the front. refitted old valve with a new coil (in case going o/c when warm) but water then just dribbled in again.
am i right in assuming the the correct bosch valve would cure this or am i missing something? thanks again for any advice pete….

could anyone let me know if qualtex val14 should be alright for this machine or is the bosch one restricted flow.
the original valve must be faulty as water just dribbles in, when val14 fitted water pours in…
any advise appreciated as i have spent a good hour kneeling in little pools of water while looking at this!

BSH p/no 167025, £18 list. From memory it has restrictors in the inlet and outlet sides of the valve.
