ParticipantThis dishwasher fails to rotate the bottom arm I have changed the heater assy, motor and sealing kit plus capacitor.
Could the module be at fault as I am not convinced the motor is running at full speed or maybe I have missed a blockage 😥
It fills to the correct level ok. 😕Any thoughts

ParticipantI would take the module out and look at the chips on the board……you may find one with a corner blown off. That’ll probably be the diverter motor control chip.

Hello
I have to agree with nomad on this one (damn I hate that), sounds like you have a problem with the water points motor on the heater box, seeings as you have changed it already then module should be the answer

The gate valve is open for the bottom arm but not enough pressure to turn it. This model has the start relay (488191) clipped onto the motor terminals, could this be the problem I wonder as I am still convinced the wash motor is not running at full speed?

ParticipantI would have thought that if the motor is starting , then the relay would be ok as , as stated , it only helps kick start the motor.
I have had numerous occasions where faulty diverter motor has taken out the module too.

Well how cruel this job can be 😥 after all the head scratching and part changing the cause of the problem was a piece of plastic food wrapping jammed in the bottom arm, I think I am going to be sick 😳
All the jet holes looked perfectly clear though 👿
Going to carry a good clean second hand arm on the van in future. Thanks for your help
