    Was displaying symptoms of impeller bucket failure – filling and draining simultaneously. Fitted new one I happened to have on the van and tested ok. There is however a constant grating/rattling noise when the machine is powered up. I seems to be coming from the area behind the sump and it is definitely not the drain or circulation pumps. Really baffled.

    Any help much appreciated.
