Customer says that she put the dishwasher on ok went out came back three hours later and it was stuck on rinse still washing i told her to reset prog to check if draining it did so its not blocked she has tried again works fine then sticks on rinse not going till tue just wonder if it could be module fault the machine is 14years old any 🙂 pointers in the right direction please

Lots of dishwashers heat on rinse cycle, too. Even then, how does she know it’s on rinse and not main wash? Anyway, sounds like a no heat fault to me. No heat fault on Bosch makes me think of relay problems on board and then big ALARM BELL says, check model no. against recall list. No idea where list of affected models is but search this site or Google or Bsh site for “fire risk” should turn it up!

She knows its on the rinse it has a small digital display window shows wash then rinse followed by dry i also asked her to open door on wash after 10 min to check heater she said it did get hot its 14years old so i dont think it would be on recall list

You’re right, it’s not.
I’d definitely take a look at the relay pin on the PCB as I’m convinced that’s where the fault lies. Also a clean up of the pressure chamber will then cover all possibilities. 😀

The recall covers machines between 7 & 12 yrs old so don’t discount any older dishwashers you might work on !

thanks paul i did suspect module will have a look at the pin the relay will be on the board on the right of console with the prog buttons i presume

Pretty darn sure you’ll find it there. Although, then again, I fancy some old models had it in a plastic box down the bottom behind the right side panel. Either way, easy enough to get at.
