Bosch Dishwasher SGS55C02GB/01

Hi all

looked at this one today, it’s overfilling ie its filling to a level it then lifts the red float on the right side of the pressure chamber and drains for a second or two then fills for a couple of seconds then drains again thats all it does.
What controls the water levels on this model?
I noticed at the very top of the clear water chamber is clogged up it’s possibly blocked, could this affect the filling? is it a breather?

Hi

The ribbed sump hose needs cleaning out. It goes from just below the red float across the front into the sump, just remove bottom front panels and hose just pulls out.

Does it fill drain fill drain constantly on start up and the ‘check water’ led illuminates? If so , it’ll be the impellor jug ( flow rate meter ) – Part no: 424099 – connected inline between water matrix and inlet hose .

yes it does fill and drain continuously but when I checked it last it waited till it was full then repeatedly filled and drained and then Check water light came on

Then new Impellor Jug it is then as Paul advises.

Tip: If you use a hairdryer to warm the PVC hoses each side of the impellor jug it is much easier to change by the way! 😉
