What is it with me and dishwashers? Its all I get nowadays!
    Not seen this machine before.
Customer says programs have started taking much longer than usual.

It has an ‘auto’ program that is supposed to self adjust wash time depending on load size and amount of dirt etc? (how?). This cycle used to take 70 mins now the display says 189 mins even when empty. Also machine no longer dries properly.

Going tomorrow and any advice will save me looking totally ignorant.
    I thank you.
    Lee.

Look for bad solder connection on heater relay on the module. There are other threads about this problem elsewhere on the forums.

Its a newer model and does not have ‘that’ module on it. I have have had quite a few of those and that was my first thought so I looked up the module for this model and it is different. Not one I have seen before.
Unless these newer ones suffer from same problem?

Looking at the Bosch spares site, it does have a very similar type of PCB as the one’s with the dry joint problems…. certainly worth a check I think 😉

Unlikely to be module trouble on this model and more likely to be gunge in the sump, bits of 3 in 1 tabs wrappers caught in top spray arm pipework. Customer not using salt regularly and causing Heater Box/Turpidary Sensor to gunge up.

Also advise using Dishwasher Cleaner every once in a while 😉
