    Hi there, wondered if someone could shed a bit of light on this problem? A Bosch SHV55M03GB/73 integrated dishwasher, around 6 years old was left on over night on a cycle. In the morning it was dead and unable to be switched back on. Checked power to socket, fuse in plug etc all ok. Checked mains input to machine OK. IS it the control board or is there anything else to check beforehand?

    Usually it is the control board (Part No: 497438) that fails. The transformer within the circuit board fails on appliances where they are left switched on for hours and hours. 9 times out of 10 those that fail are as a result of folks that turn on their appliances then go to bed. A habit worth breaking I reckon as anything could happen whilst you’re asleep to 8 plus hours. 😯

    Make sure the batteries in your smoke alarm works too! 💡

    My dishwasher is currently exhibiting the exact same symptoms. Did replacing the control board fix this?
