    The heat pump should have a resistance of around 19 – 20 Ω. The heat pump in the dishwasher has a resistance of 22.9 Ω can this influence the control module and prevent it from heating? No visible damage to the control module.

    Update….. new heat pump and old comparison across all terminals were identical apart from new pump heater reads 19.2 Ω old pump is 22.9 Ω.
    No low insulation. Fitted the new heat pump, and it now heats…weird or what. Just glad it’s fixed.

    the heat pump is used as a virtual sensor. if the old motor is worn it will give a different current profile and stop the heater being energised

    still done think the odd ohm would stop it heating
