When this machine is switched on the machine tries to switch the drain pump on and the module clicks a few times without the start button being pressed. Then the Check Water Light Flashes. There is no water in the sump and the anti flood device is not activated. The machine will not reset. The machine carries out the above with the door open or closed. The drain pump is serviceable and the drain hose is not blocked and the pump is free to rotate. I think the main control module has failed. Can anyone confirm this, or have any other ideas?
Re: Bosch Dishwasher SMS40T42UK/34 Check Water Light Flashin
It sounds like an e15 flood protection error code which would suggest a leak into the base. Are you sure there’s no water in the base? Before going down the control module fault , I’d be checking the actual switch on the flood protection device first.
