Hi,
Put my bosch dishwasher sms50e02gb and after it finished I thought I switched it off. This morning I realised it was still on so went to turn it off again to no avail, I did try the button a couple of times and heard a gurgling sound like when it drains but just slightly.
Went on a spares website and found the on/off switch asked a question about the part and a member of the team came back and said it might have flooded and to tilt it 45 degrees and then try again. I did and a tiny bit of water came out but I assumed this was the bit from under the microfilter.
None of the buttons work just the display flashes the cycle time whatever button I push.
Any ideas please to close to crimbo to be buying a new one 😥

Update
My OH messed with it last night.
He managed to switch it off using the on/off button, I turned it in this morning and ran a programme, I heard the pump try a couple of times then an e25 code cam up and the check water illuminated, have checked the water inlet by the aqua stop and the microfilter is not blocked.
Any ideas now please, many thanks.

The drain pump is blocked/restricted in some way OR the pump inspection cover is not secure.

How would I check it or unblock it ? I took the impeller cover off and made sure it wasn’t restricted by something and it turned fine. Many thanks.

If the drain pump is restricted in any way it is programmed to turn on and off in rapid succession a few times in the hope of clearing the restriction. If it fails to clear it in say 5 to 10 seconds it then throws up the E25 error. Take a real close look at the pump Impellor AND make sure you secure the pump cover afterwards before testing as that too will throw up the same error code.
