Customer complaint is when she selects extra dry and Starts the program it doesn’t finish the program and the on light starts to flash so it won’t dry the program works ok as long as you don’t select extra dry

Have a look in the Instruction manual as you need to access the basic settings to switch on the option for extra dry

Extra dry presumably raises the temperature of the final rinse so I wonder if the heater is cutting out due to limescale. If so, a powerful dishwasher descaler should do the trick.
