    When I turn on the dishwasher the ‘washing’ light continues to flash and it does not fill with water. I have checked all the usual things – filters, inlet hose, pump cover etc but still nothing. Does anyone know of anything else I could try before calling out an engineer.

    I’m assuming you mean the door closure?

    It looks okay to me and the door is closing properly.
