Bosch dispenser – replacing wax actuator

Hi,

As previously posted our Bosch Excel Maxx dishwasher has stopped opening the detergent dispenser. I have been advised that it is most likely to be the wax actuator which is faulty.

Does anyone know how this part can be replaced. Do I need to take off the internal panel on the door to access the dispenser or is their a quicker way?

Remove door outer panel. Unclip wax motor and snap the new one in.

Power off first.

Well I’ve replaced the wax acctuator but the detergent dispenser still won’t open 🙁 Any thing else I can try?

Could possibly be the module not driving the wax valve 😕
