ParticipantBosch DKE995AGB cooker hood. FD. 8007.
This damn thing has raised it’s ugly head again!! 👿
The lamps (12V) either side do not work. Bulbs have continuity. Traced the supply wiring back to the transformer – no mains voltage into it. The supply cable from the transformer comes from the PCB edge connector. I am assuming it’s a board fault. But with the exorbitant price tag, I’ve got to be sure. All the fan motor selections work fine. Customer says that sometimes the hood just hums when the fan is switched on – capacitor looks OK, and the unit worked fine for me. Could the PCB cause this too??
When the ‘lamp’ button is pressed, the PCB buzzer sounds; so I’m thinking that the switch panel functions OK. 😕
Also there is what I assume to be a sensor connected in-line with the lamps. This must be the ‘filter blocked’ check sensor – am I right??Any ideas on this please!!!!

I found the fuse and it tested out OK. 😕 So I am assuming it’s the PCB at fault. There is no power supply to the lamp transformer and the fan sometimes hums when switched off.
Weird thing – and a joy to dismantle – NOT!!! Brand new induction hob directly beneath….gulp!!!Thanks for the input. If you can help some more, it would be greatly appreciated.

Have know the pcb 264223 supply low voltage to motor in the past. Not cheap to replace though :rolls: .

I know – :rolls: – the customer is still recovering from the shock!! At that price and also being a non – returnable part, I need to be sure otherwise I’d rather turn the job down.
Thanks,
Steve.
