ParticipantHi,
I move the knob to 100 then 150 light goes off i turn it to about 180 it never gets that hot . I can see the element glowing red but beforeit gets to 180 the element goes off the fan motor keeps running and it starts to cool down the knobgoes onto a switch which turns the stat all operatingok.August 18, 2020 at 8:23 pm #471321electrofix
Moderatori assume the sensor is in the correct position and the correct stat is fitted 00489378
if your using an oven temperature guage put is as close to the sensor as you can get it and see what you get

ParticipantIt looks like it has 2 cooling fans – are either/both running (especially the one located between the 2 ovens)? If not it could be tripping the chassis overheat cut out on the back of the oven.
