Bosch drain hose

I have a Bosch Classix6 varioperfect washing machine. It has a drain hose from the detergent solution pump. My question is,how often should I drain the pump? The instruction manual doesn,t say other than to say do it when the appropriate warning lights come on. There is nothing about regular maintenance at all.

Hi Pete,

If it’s the filter you’re talking about, which I think it is, then checking it semi-regularly is good practice to make sure there’s nothing in there that could block the pump.

Hi kwatt,there is no mention of a filter in there but I think your advice is good nevertheless. The hose drains the detergent solution and there is a system of warning lights to indicate a blockage.No mention of regular maintenance however. I think I’ll do it anyway,as you suggest. Ta for the reply.

not sure exactly what you mean, kens reply is about the only conclusion i could come to. if you have got the er number that will probably start wae*****gb/** it would help us to help you a lot
