    Hi,
this vented dryer stops intermittently with the filter light on and won’t restart.
It has been fully stripped down and cleaned out, no blockages or air restrictions. I am sure I read somewhere about the NTC that could cause this. The measurements checked out ok, but I did replace it and still the same fault.
The only thing I can think of, is the control board. Does anyone else have any thoughts?.

have you had a good look at the element. sometimes the element coils can sag and cause a hot spot

was trying to think how it would sense filter blocked and since there only seems to be one thermistor (and you have swopped it) I cant think of anything else. Was thinking condensor at first but this is vented so all the usual problems go out the window. I assume its got access to lots of cold air as i am looking for a way the heater would give a raised temp

assume from what you say you have checked all filters and air flow to outside. As a long shot have you removed and replaced wiring plugs on the pcb ?

    Hi Dave,

yes I have checked the filters. The vent hose is spotless and it hangs straight out of the window which is behind the dryer.
I didn’t remove the board or check the connections, so I suppose that is a possibility.
