Bosch DW not Draining

Our Bosch dishwasher, model #SHY66C, stopped draining today. If you listen carefully you can hear something try to start the draining process, but the bottom of the dishwasher is still full of water. The dishwasher is only 8 months old. Any ideas?

I don’t recognise the model number you have given? But if you read other posts on Bosch Dishwashers not draining, the advice given will likely apply just as well to your machine 😉

Thanks for the help. We checked all the items mentioned in previous posts and drained the DW into a bucket. We found the clog in the drain pipe.

Oh, by the way it is a US model with the controls in the top edge of the door panel, and only a count down clock on the face. We have really enjoyed this model as it is very quiet and leaves our crystal shinier than hand washing and drying.
