Easiest way is to remove the door panel (6 screws), open the door and undo the lower 2 screws on the edge of each side panel. This will allow the plinth to be removed (1 screw each side). Pull plinth forward, spread side panels slightly and pull off. Remove the cover plate behind the plinth (2 screws) and the pump is revealed.
Before removing the flexible pipe from the water metering system to the sump, sponge out all the water from the sump. This will stop the base getting water in it and subsequent alarm problems on reassembly.
Remove the pump supply wires. The pump is secured by a sprung plastic barb. Squeeze the barb and twist the pump off.
As Haynes manual would say, “reassembly is a reversal of removal”. This is not difficult just a little fiddly at first. Sponge out any water spilt into the base.

    Hope that helps,

    Steve.
