bosch DW sgs43a18gb/38 lower spray arm

Help please
I have one of these that the lower spray arm does not revolve. No apparent wear, I can hear the spray arm motor/diverter valve running when first switching on but no water circulating through lower arm. I suspect a blockage.

Update. 😉

Not a blockage, turned out to be the diverter valve, disk inside heater box has sheared off, looks as if the spindle that it is mounted on has crumbled away.

Anyone know if this is a common fault or is there a known reason for this to happen? 🙂

Or insufficient water level 😉
