    Sgs43t22gb/01

    Hi Can anyone help.

Do you know if there are any known reasons for intermittent faults on this machine.

I have a nursing home with a Bosch Dishwasher Model Sgs43t22gb/01. This is the one with the floating magnet and reed switch proximity sensor for the water level.

The staff at the nursing home are reporting that the appliance runs for hours on a quick wash. I can’t make it do anything wrong! I have checked all the obvious, water level correct, no water in base, Heater works, Temperature OK. I have been called three times so there must be something going on.

I have noticed that the pump runs in pulses during the first pump out after the heat pause. After a minute or so it finishes pumping out and fills again as normal. Is this correct?

    Thanks in anticipation

Have you checked the heater relay? There is normally a dry joint burnt out.

Does it fill/empty at same time?

If so check for grease and metal filings around magnet.Clean these off and the chamber where magnet sits?

If all these ok,I had one the other week with a duff module, worked fine on all cycles, except quickwash.

    HTH.

There was a little iron filings around the magnet. I suspect the module myself. There are no obvious dry joints.

On a different note, I did fit one of the magnets upside down a few months ago. It don’t work upside down 😳

Does the magnet float, erm … float?
I had two that were not very buoyant when placed in a glass of water!
If you shook them, you could see water inside. 😯
