Got a call to go to Bosch Classix DW, less than 2 years old, no model num yet.
Customer says of late its left powder in dispenser, not the usual strong spray off it & theres little or no water in base when she opens door or splash of water as usual from spray arms.
How is the water intake controlled in these machines?
    Is there no pressure sw’?
I think from memory they only have a float sw on side of tank but would like some guidance before i start dismantling & removing circulation pump.

She says filter is clean in base & holes of spray arms are not blocked.
    Thanx

    NIce easy one for you.

There is a transfer hose between the sump and the metering system that is blocked with crud.

Remove table top and both side panels to make access easier. Remove bottom plinth (kickstrip). You may find it practical to remove the outer door skin too. Remove metal plate behind kickstrip and you will see the transparent hose going from the sump to the left hand side. It’s a push fit. Pop it off and clean it in the sink.

I allways dismantle the pressure switch system to clean it while it’s out as it is sometimes gunked up inside.

    Good luck

water level is controlled by water metering tank on left hand side of appliance and small pressure switch in pressure chambre..if you are looking fron front. I would check the hose that connects it to the appliance sump…..probably blocked with grung and giving wrong water level….hose is push fit with o rings on each end. just take it out and rinse through…

    hope this helps
