    Hi
My Bosch washing machine has developed a problem when working through the wash cycles. I’m guessing its something to do with the timer as they are taking twice as long as they should be with a 40 degree wash taking over 2 hours. When the display gets down to 15 minutes it then seems to reset itself and continue for another hour or so.

Is this likely to be the control module that needs replacing? I’ve had a look on the Bosch spares website (see below) and it seems to just have one wiring loom to fit. Is this something I could do without having to call out an engineer?

    Thanks

    Hi

Have you checked to see if it is heating the water.

    Hi

I’ve just tried a 60 degree wash and checked and the water was cold so it doesn’t seem to be heating the water.

    Hello,

How long ago did you buy the machine? Did you buy from new?

You may still have rights against the retailer from whom you bought it, although a ‘warranty’ may expire, a warranty is only in addition to your legal rights, not in replace of them!

Reply with details of when you bought it, for how much, from where and what method of payment – cash (either physical cash or debit) or credit (either credit card or some sort of finance agreement).

    Best Regards,

    ConsumerChamp.
