Hi just joined the forum. I guess the answer is machine knackered, but this Bosch has served us faithfully for over 23 years with nary a problem. Suddenly it just won’t start a wash cycle, manual suggests faulty fuse (no), or water not pumped away (yes). Have cleaned filter but I cannot see where the water should drain to – am 50 something not very practical female! Any thoughts, or is it time to wave it goodbye? 🙂

Well from what you say it does at least drain I guess?

At the start of every wash cycle it does drain for 60 seconds, then it should start to fill. If that doesn’t happen then either the water is shut off, the inlet valve filter is clogged or (more likely?) the water inlet valve has packed up?

Can you give us the long E.nr number (by the door seal and lid) that starts 073?????????. I think the E705 is the built in version of the E700 from memory, but the number will confirm? 🙂

Martin, so remiss of me I should have come back ages ago. Your suggestion about clogging did the trick, all working brilliant now. So perhaps am not quite so useless after all…. 😕
