ParticipantHello, we have been in our house for about ayear now and we were using an integrated dishwasher.
From memory the original fault was it stopped filling up during the cycle and and would not wash to completion.
We would then empty it and it would slowly collect water inside the wash area and keep filling up over 2 days. We would then have to switch it on to drain it self away.I thought that the appliance was old and had its day so I removed it and replaced it with our Bosch. All worked fine, problem solved.
After approximately 3 months of working fine the Bosch developed the same fault. Slowly fills up after a 2 days and we hve to switch it onto drain the water away.
The main water dows fill and rotate the sprinklers at all.
I have all the covers off and would appreciatte some pointers on how to fault find. I have a multimeter.
Thanks Tony

In addition to the post I would like to add that when we drain the water collecting in the base, the pump constatly is trying to empty and the timer does not count down. it does stop when i physically move the the red float switch.
It so strange thatboth dishwashers have the same fault.
I can confirm that the inlet hose is working fine and the pressure is direct from the mains and not from a water tank.
Thanks

some progress : I managed to snap the door switch trying to get it unlock so I have to repair that now also and would welcome the easy way to get to it to replace it.
The dishwasher started to work and I though it might be door switch related. It go through about ten minutes of its cycle and was at a refill point and was not filling or counting down.
I shook it gently and I think the solenoid valve opened and it started to fill and proceed with its cycle.
Do inlet valves get sticky? Or is it door switch related ?
