Just got home to the Dishwasher that I put on this morning before I went work, it’s flashing H24 in the display.

Looks to have washed but possibly not dried, difficult to tell as I put it on at 8:00am and its now 5:00pm.

    Any thoughts?

It is still under guarantee with Bosch but can’t be bothered waiting in them if its nothing to write home about……

    Thanks

    Hello

I think F24 is a blocked pump/drainage issue, check in your manual it will tell you how to check the pump, if that doesnt cure the problem and it is under warranty i would advise you give bosch a call

    🙂

Re: Bosch Excell H24 Error Code

    Its H24 not F24!

I’m an engineer myself, but none of the literature I have gives me a H24 code. I know how to check the pump, but its emptying fine.

It has gone through the program twice since the fault but would like to know what H24 means……

    Any takers?

Why not give Bosch a call?

This will kill two birds with one stone…..

You can see if they know H24 as a genuine error plus you can log the fault with them in case of any further problems.

(On some machines you can get a H20 error, as in the chemical symbol for water.)

Be sure to have your model and serial number to hand as they will require these details. (This site does as a rule as well.)

Re: Bosch Excell H24 Error Code

I also received an h24 code – not H24, but h24 – on my dishwasher – I know this is late for the thread opener but – to get around it initially, hold the start button for 3 seconds which will reset the washer and allow you to continue.

The only code in the manual that comes close is E24 which means the outlet hose is kinked – leaving a bit of water in the dishwasher. I know that close only counts in horse-shoes and hand-grenades but there was water in the bottom of my dishwasher. I re-read the entire manual and believe h24 means 24hour delay – which can be accidentally triggered via hitting the “-” button once – or the “+” button 24 times. So the 2 ways to reset it are to hit + or – until it says h00 or the reset mentioned above.

Funny thing about the Bosch diswasher is that it doesnt say any where (obvious) model#=xxxxxxxx. There are many numbers on the manual and washer itself but no clue as to which one is the model# until you bring out the CSI forensic equipment and find it using UV rays on the inside leftish top of the front door. Model#=SHX58E15UC/01. By the way, that scheme gives 3,089,157,760,000 possible models – before the /01. Really? Is that necessary? As for the code – Couldn’t they have simply had a display or light that signals delay is on?

Re: Bosch Dishwasher H24 Error Code

We had this problem too. In our case, we had inadvertently set the timer for 24 minutes. Don’t ask me how.
Hold down the minus key and the 24 will begin to reduce until it gets to zero and, hey presto! problem gone.
Actually, I have to admit that, whilst I was Googling in the usual blokey way, my wife was reading the manual and came up with the answer. 😕
