    takes in water for about 2 seconds …pulses and then a loud buzzing noise ..

    draim pump ok … and wash pump ok if you fill with water to test /empty.

    got a couple of error codes ….1st e15 2nd e 25 ..

    heard a few folk talking about the mushroom thing in sump …

    does this sound like it ..

    any info appreciated

    The mushroom thing is fitted on the plastic tub jobs. The beast you have is that new generation machine with a heater in the circulating pump.

    ‘e25’ blocked drain pump!! Make sure you take the pump right out to check it. Sometimes a pump itself will throw up this error although it will work other times it can be a resistance reading on the wash motor tricking the pcb. Self Diagnostics! Don’t we luv em!!!!!

    cheers . we changed drain pump as we thought this was where noise was coming from , also cleared a lot of glass from pump/sump …

    wondering if there some in wash motor ???

    update this enigeer who attended has said …

    fills for 2 secs and then you get a noise like a valve opening but no water coming through..

    any other ideas …
