    Martin, I have removed the filter assembly and can see only one hole at 6.00 O’Clock, about half inch dia. No blockage felt by my probing little finger. Is this the pipe?

    Yes! Do not force any sharp pointed objects through the tube (about 12 inches long – goes to the left by the way) as it can easily puncture. 🙁

    Just a bottle brush….. 8)

    Running the hotter, longer cycles might also be beneficial in keeping the machine clean. Try using a dishwasher cleaner on a hot cycle every three months.

    I’m not convinced about low-temperature washing at all.
