Bosch Exxcel 1200 WFO2465GB/01

Recently the machine stops at drain/spin cycle with ‘spin’ ight flashing. The manual says this could be due to a blockage. I have cleared out hose and checked pump. The problem cleared for a bit but came back. I now cannot clear the fault and when setting machine to drain nothing happens except for an electronic buzzing sound? before displaying fault flashing spin light.
Is it time to take the machine apart and check internal hoses/pump connection for a blockage? 😕

Sounds like the buzzing is due to pump having jammed or failed. Remove the filter and check it. Then shine a torch into the throat of the pump (the filter hole) and look carefully for items jamming the pump impeller. Often a nail or a wretched 5p gets past the filter and blocks the pump. If it’s clear, then the pump has probably failed.
If you need a pump, Shop @ can obtain the correct part for you. 😉

Thanks. Drained machine, checked pump no blockage. Tried spin cycle and it worked (?) has worked for a couple of days…then stopped again. Looks like an intermittent fault on pump as it is a bit noisy at start up after stopping…time for a new pump I think. 🙁

Ordered new pump (great parts service) – arrived 2 days later. Fitted in 45mins – runs like a dream with no problems since.
