Bosch Exxcel 1400 Express Fault Code

Hi,

After 4 years good service my Bosch Exxcel 7 1400 Express (WAE28468GB/17) shows flashing F:26 in the digital display and won’t start.
I can’t get rid of this error code no matter what I try – anybody have any ideas…

its difficult to be certain due to this specific fault code no being listed
but

i would check inside base of machine first some indications i have found information from other members that this machine has an anti-flood device and this fault code may be linked to it

take the back off and check for water flooding inside base

remove plug first !!
