    Drum turns freely by hand but does not go into ‘spin’ cycle. Machine fills and Pump appears to be operating OK. Any help and advice as to what to check gratefully received.

    If the drum does not rotate at any time then the motor brushes are the first things to check, after removing the mains plug of course.
