Bosch Exxcel 7 – Only 15 Cycle works

I have a Bosch Exxcel 7 washing machine and recently all the programs/cycles, apart from the 15 Minute program, have stopped working.
Only the 15 minute program works as it should. For all other cycles the first water intake happens and the drum just rotates backwards and forwards. The machine continues to go forwards and backwards unless stopped. If however, we switch over to the 15 minute program it actually completes the 15 minute program as expected.
Are these machines “fly by wire” and resettable or could there be a mechanical problem causing this?
I’ve cleaned the filter and powered the machine off and on but no joy.
The wife can’t wash and is going bonkers so any help would be highly appreciated. Anything to give my ears a rest!!

Heater at fault probably. What is the full model number (ENr no) of the appliance anyway?

Having seen the helpful video on this site, I might in the meantime check the heating element and thermocouple.
