ParticipantHi all would anybody know which pump of the two fitted to this machine controls the pressure to the blades, the machine works fine apart from low pressure and blades not spinning, would like to order a replacement but don’t know which one to get. Thanks

ParticipantSms65e32gb/80 this is the full model number, the issue is machine is working apart from the blades are not spinning, looks like it’s a pressure problem from the circulator pump, any ideas would be appreciated.

Moderatorhad this before and it was rubbish that got sucked into the motor
dry sump out completely. remove the plastic piece in the sump that partially covers pump entrance
then with a small mirror and a torch you can see the impellor and check for debris
often you can pick it off with bits of bent wire, saves taking the motor out

ParticipantYou have checked both the wash blade jet nozzles I take it from not being bunged up ?- the most obvious check 1st. Other things to note: blockage as per above comment by electrofix but would like to add the actual heat pump motor – see bosch spares website under your model number line drawing item 0450 = part number 00651956 =£132.65 = heatpump. And more rarely item 0440 = part number 00649568 = water distrubutor complete = £54.95- the revolving disc jams or the little motor can fail (pretty rare the latter one) had one once fail in no mans land not sending water to the top blade nor the bottom blade and certainly none were going around. It will probably be what Electrofix recommends if you hear the motor on with a bit of luck. If you hear sweet F A when the motor is supposed to be working highly suspect heat pump is jammed (could be by glass so watch it) or it has just died on you – not that uncommon so not unknown.
Replacing the motor is a knack to it without dismantling the whole sad contraption`s under base which is pretty major undertaking if you`ve zero experience. Replacing the water distrubutor is very major work so pray it is neither of those things. These dishwashers are a pain in the arse to work on other than simple stuff.December 4, 2023 at 11:43 pm #488790andyjawa
Participantoops! This what happens when interrupted! Forgot to mention the bottom micro mesh filter being bunged up, very common that one – item number 0611 part number 00645038 £19.62 but will probably just need cleaning – cheaper still!

ParticipantThanks guys for your help, I will pull the machine apart today to take a look, if I run a rinse cycle the pump runs if I pull the door open quickly I can see a small fountain out of each hole in the lower blade none from the upper blade so appears to be a lack of pump pressure or blockage, I take it the heater pump is the one that operates this function?
