    Model SGS46EO2G. Only a few months old. Now has very poor cleaning performance. I have noticed that the top spray arm rotates and sprays water but the lower arm dose not. Looked for blocked jets but can not find anything wrong.
    Arm rotates very easily if pushed. Seems as if there is no water getting to the arm!
    Any ideas?

    It looks like it has an alternator valve as part of the heater assembly. This is supposed to alternate the water between the upper and lower rotors – if it doesn’t, there’s your problem.

    You’re under guarantee, so BSH will sort it for you. Be nice to the engineer, he’s going to do a helluva job.

    Check that any “HALF LOAD” button is not selected. I believe that Bosch machines have a half load function, which diverts water to the top basket only.
