Bosch exxcel dishwasher

Hi everyone.
My dishwasher doesnt seem to finish programme. On the intensive wash (which normaly runs for approx 2hrs) it gets within 1min of finishing and stays like that indefinately. Ive tried other programes and they seem the same. I’ve cleaned the filters inside but thats not helped. Any ideas??

I should think we will be able to offer some advice, but we need the model number – it’s probably engraved into the top edge of the inner door panel. Some of the latest machines have a label down the edge of the door panel.

Sorry, but there is a hoard of Exxel machines, and they’re all slightly different.

It represents a ‘time-out’ error caused either by a heating element not working or the internal pipework gunged up. If the machine does heat the water up you can discount the former, purchase dishwasher cleaning tablets to help cure the latter. 😉

If the problem persists contact a local independent engineer to look at it for you (see link below)

I am advised that the machine is SE56EO2GB.

Martin’s comments are valid in relation to the appliance, unless Gegsy wants to add his two h’appence……….. 😀

Just to let you know I tried the dishwasher cleaner (3 times) and didnt make any real difference, but as you suspected the internal pipework was pretty clogged up. So I took machine apart and cleaned the internal pipework. The clear plastic housing that the pressure chamber sits on was the worst.
I ran it once more with cleaner and now perfect!! It hasnt worked so well in ages.

Just a word of advice – rinse the heavy deposits off the plates before sticking them in. Rich sauces (bolognaise for instance) are shockers for causing this problems. It’s a washer, not a waste disposal unit 😀 .
