Bosch Exxcel Dishwasher door questions

Hello
I have a Bosch Exccel Dishwasher which performs very well. However, I have two questions:
1. the door does not open to 90 degrees although the basket does attach to the door when it is opened to prevent it sliding back in during the loading process. Is this normal?
2. Once the lower basket has been loaded and I want to release it from the door to allow it to slide back into the main machine, the only way to do this is by lifting the back of the lower basket. This is an awkward manoeuvre. Am I missing some easy release mechanism?

There are a few numbers on a plate near the door latch – SGS47E12GB/64 and ID8511 and Type S9L1B

Hi
The door should open with moderate resistence to a complete 90 degree horizontal position; if it won’t there is a problem and needs some attention.

You could check if the one of the two plastic blocks on hinges behind door panel have not fallen off, this happened on a job I attended some months ago, this part fell out and was at he bottom of the door panel preventing the door opening 90 deg
