Hi All,
I’ve got a Bosch Exxcel SRS45E32GB Slimline dishwasher which I recently inherited.
Before I took possession it’d probably been sat idle for about 9 months.
Soon after we started using it, the ‘Check Water’ light started coming on. We found tilting the dishwasher back and propping it back resolves the ‘Check Light’ problem and gets the dishwasher working. The dishwasher does then run a full cycle.
However, it seems to keep hold of a lot of water which eventually leaks all over the floor and creates a mess. I then have to try and empty all the excess water out by tipping it forward.
I’ve checked all over for blockages, the drain pipe, underneath the food filter and I’ve removed that little rubber valve just beneath that and just water came out.
I’ve noticed that the if unscrew the spout where you pour in the salt, it is full to the brim.
Could someone give me some advice as I don’t really fancy buying a new one. Will I need to replace the pump, if so where on earth is it and how do I get to it?
Or is there another solution?
Thanks,
Richard
