Have stripped down washer for cleaning as advised on this forum and finally got clean matrix and float assembly and components that sit beside it.The hose that links all this to the sump looks bad so need to remove to clean. Having fruitlessly removed kick plate and back plate behind it all i can see now is the base of the machine that holds spillage etc with no site of the hose. Advice please on how to access it

The sump hose is a clear plastic corrugated pipe that goes from the float chamber to the sump. It’s a simple push fit at both ends and easily removed for cleaning. If you have removed the front kick panel you can’t miss it….it’s right at the front….!

Job sorted now but for those following the same path just a note may help. The left hand panel was already off as was the top. I then removed the right hand panel, two torx screws and the rear held by locating the rear edge on small pips. Having tilted the machine up at the front with a couple of blocks and securing it from falling i then unclipped the shaped kick plate and its back plate. Two screws one at each side hold this in place. You are then faced with a curved metal unpainted panel which is accessable when the door is lowered. When this is unscrewed and gently pulled down ( It remains attached by some wires and fitting to the right but you have room to work) Only then can you see, over the edge of the base, the aforementioned corrugated pipe . This as said can be uncliped from its centre fixing and pulled off from the inner bowl spigot. How it ever worked I dont know. So much crud it need picking out. All reassembled now and the timer first showed an impossible figure but as the machine worked through its program the time adjusted itself to the correct finishing time. I would buy another bosch well made and thought out/designed machines.
