Bosch Exxcel SGS43A12GB / 27 Not draining

Hi All,

Great forum – just what I need I hope.
Got the above, which is not correctly training.

Have searched – not bad already for a newbie 😀
And suspect Impeller blockage, pump or equiv.

I have unscrewed all the bits I can in the sump area after doing the normal filter removal (I clean them often) and can see the impeller a small “propeller” like thing which turns and it doesn’t seem blocked.
Is there some other part to be removed somehow to see it fully ?
I have downloaded the a manual but it doesn’t tell me how to get to the pump/impeller

Can anyone help further ?

Well first of all please switch the dishwasher off before doing anything.

Do you hear the drain pump running?The drain/waste pipe that connects to the waste trap of the sink is not blocked?
Take the pipe off and put it in a bucket and then run to see if the water comes out on drain.If not then either something in the drain pump is blocked or it is faulty.

Fairdeal,

I did switch the power off before I tried checking the Impeller.
I’ll try the drain pump tests tomorrow.
