Our dishwasher has an intermitent electrical problem that is getting worse. It will sometimes stop mid cycle or fail to start if on a timed start & the LED timer display goes blank (no power). If you hit the front of the dishwasher with the palm of your hand it will then restart. I’ve taken the front panel off & checked the connection to the switch & control unit but everything appears to be OK. Any ideas on how to track this down without replacing one component at a time?

It could well be a poor connection on one of the edge connectors of the module in the fascia or maybe a dry joint on the module.
Power off if you are to investigate :plug:
