    Our Bosch Exxcel dishwasher (SMS50E02GB/04) has become very noisy of late. It sounds like a jet engine.
    I’m guessing pump bearings but any other candidates?
    How easy is this to do?

    You might well be right on the circulating pump bearings. Sadly though you will need to buy a complete motor/heater unit or a pair of ear muffs! 🙁

    Any opinions as to whether it is worth repairing it? It is fairly old.

    The motor unit (part no 00654575) will set you back £91.38 direct from Bosch.
